THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS

Stampin' Up! Thoughts and Prayers Stamp Set

Recently my mother had asked me to make a couple of sympathy cards for her to have on hand.  This is one that I gave her to use.

The idea came from a card I saw on Pinterest although the card I saw was tall and narrow which left a lot of white space.......more than I wanted to use.  I loved how they stamped just the portion of the design and stamped it upside down and coming off the side of the white mat.

For the sentiment I used one from the Thoughts and Prayers set.  The butterflies were made from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit.

Be sure to come back tomorrow for this week's PPA 195 Color Challenge.  Thank you for stopping by!

I never in a million years would have thought to stamp the tree upside down! It really works. I guess I will be thinking that the next time I bring this set out for ink!

very pretty. I am sure she liked it and I hope she doesn't have to use it very soon. I am tired of using them!

What a great idea. I've used branches for something similar, but I really like this! Thanks for sharing.

My card was modeled after one I saw on Pinterest.  That card used a die with larger trees.  This die is from Penny Black.  I liked the large...
