USING ALCOHOL INK BACKGROUND

Yesterday I was going to post this card but I was having major computer problems AGAIN!  I did spend a lot of time working on cards though and have some fun ones to show in the next few days.

I mentioned on an earlier post that I had been having fun working with alcohol inks on glossy card stock.  This is one of the backgrounds I came up with .  I stamped the design from the SU World of Dreams stamp set.  The "Happy" was stamped and the "Birthday" is a die cut that I added.   The alcohol inks went well with the SU Pacific Point card stock.

It is hard to get a good picture of glossy paper backgrounds.  I didn't use a flash but the photos all seemed to "wash out" the color some.

Since you stopped by, won't you tell me what you think?  I always appreciate your comments.  Hope you are having a great day!

That blue background is lovely and perfect to highlight your sweet little bird.

Alcohol backgrounds are so fun to make! My problem is figuring out what to do with them once made. I love your idea for them, using a silhouette Inge was perfect!
