MEMORY BOX BLOOMINGTON BORDER

While I was in Des Moines, I took a class with my friends and used this Memory Box Bloomington Border die.  I really liked it and decided I'd add it to my collection.  The die also embosses the design which is nice.  After cutting and embossing the design, I left it in the die and used a dabber to add the color to the blooms and leaves.  The flowers were added to a strip of vanilla card stock and then mounted onto a piece of Perfect Plum with foam squares.  The vanilla panel on the right was embossed and added to the card base along with the floral panel.

The second car was made the same way using Melon Mambo ink and card stock.  I like it too but the first one is my favorite.  What do you think?

Thank you for stopping by!

The sponged color really make these flowers vivid; love the look!

I love how the colors are only on the top of the embossing. Great card

They are both so pretty, Vicki! I think that die is awesome, too. Harriet had it, so I used hers while she was here, too.

Neat!

My card was modeled after one I saw on Pinterest.  That card used a die with larger trees.  This die is from Penny Black.  I liked the large...
