BACK TO THANKSGIVING CARDS

INSPIRED BY RACHEL TESSMAN

This was my first attempt at making this angled cut.  The card uses a 12" x 5 1/2" piece of card stock for the base.  My white 12 x 12 is not as heavy as I would like but it works.  The papers used are from two different paper collections..........."Mediterranean Blooms" and "Wildly Flowering".  The lemon cluster on the front was fussy cut from a sheet.

While I had the papers out on my table, I decided to make a second one featuring the oranges.  The cluster of oranges were die cut from a sheet of that design.

ECHO PARK PAPER PAD

 In the next couple of weeks, you will be seeing the card that I have made using papers from an Echo Park pad pad.  I will be using these fall cards for Thanksgiving designs and donating them to the care centers.  Echo Park also had a pad containing 16 sheets of stickers to use on the cards.

ECHO PARK DSP

Almost a "One Sheet Wonder".......My September 15 card used this paper and since it was still on my table, I wanted to use the rest of it so I just started cutting it up..  If there were any scraps left, they are gone now.  I tried to work it so that there was a bird on each of the pieces.  Only the second card doesn't have one.

ANOTHER SIMPLY ELEGANT

On September 3 I posted a card like this but didn't have anything new in my "blog folder" for today so I am using this one.  It is very much the same but the flowers are a little different and this one is a birthday card.  This also shows how I embellished the inside.  

I have been working really hard on cards for care centers.  Halloween cards are done but I'm progressing on the Thanksgiving ones.  I need to take some pictures so I can show them here.
