WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY POSTS

These cards were all made last week and I had them scheduled in a photo folder for each day, but forgot to schedule them here on my blog.  So today you are getting four cards all at one time.....because I already have cards I want to post next week.

This card was supposed to be scheduled for Wednesday (March 13).  The Impression Obsession design was colored with Copic markers.

The March 14th card is also am Impression Obsession design colored with Copic markers.

Today's two cards (above and below) are a different fold.  The top one worked out the best.  It's a little hard to get them to lay flat but they were fun to make.

Thank you for stopping by!

GARDEN IN BLOOM - Card #6 + 2 More

Once again a CASE from a Pinterest card.  I made a couple of minor changes.  Below check out the two cards I CASED from my own card.  I really like this color combination.

Thank you for coming by today!

STAMPIN' UP! - Garden in Bloom (Card #5)

l used the same colors on this card as I did on the one posted Wednesday but change it up to a vertical format.  I actually like this one better.

Monday I'll have one more card using a single flower so I hope you will come back again then.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SISTER

Today I am taking time out to post this special card I made for my sister's birthday.

This is a card using a card base that measures 5" x 6 1/2".  I bought a package from Michaels's that has 50 scored cards and envelopes.  With a 50% Coupon it was a really good deal.

The last time I ordered from Penny Black, this is one of the items I purchased.  It is called "Summer Glow".  I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic markers.  I found a blue marker that went well with the SU card stock that I used for the mat.  Because "Glow" was part of the name of the stamp, I added a lot of Wink of Stella to the petals and to parts of the leaves.

Thanks for coming by today!

STAMPIN' UP! - Garden in Bloom (Cards 1 and 2)

It's 2:00 (CST) here and I almost forgot to post the cards I had scheduled for today.  I started off intending for a completely different card but ended up with this result.  I had cut a strip for the right panel.  When I started coloring with the yellow, I realized there wasn't any yellow in the strip of dp so I changed the plan.

The stamped design panel and the dotted dp panel are cut so that the black card base shows through.

This is the card I intended to make.  I had seen one using this format and color on Pinterest.  I didn't have the exact same dp but this one does CASE that card pretty close.  This card is square (4 1/4" x 4 1/4")

Be sure to come back each day this week for more cards using this stamp set.

STAMPIN' UP! - Kitty Punch

I was going to borrow a cat punch from a friend but then decided that maybe I could make good use of one and purchased.  I had some "black cats" punched that were on my craft table. While trying to clean up my mess I decided to make a couple quick cards with two of them.  Both of these ideas came from Pinterest.

For this first card I used different Washi tape than the one I saw and I stamped my sentiment in the open white area.

For this card the cats could have been punched from 2" square pieces of black and white card stock and then added back into the reverse negative pieces.  I decided for me it would be easier to die cut 2" squares and then punch the kitties from other pieces to be glued on.  The one I saw on Pinterest had a piece of black twine across the bottom with a bow.  I didn't have any so once again I used Washi tape.  I think I'll keep this card back as one that could be used for Valentine's Day 2020.

Thank you for coming by today!

Aren't these birds cute?  I've had the stamp set for a while and just hadn't inked it up.  The littlest bird was cut out and pop...
