Well, that does it for a week of red raspberries and strawberries.  I have a piece of the green plaid about 8 x 6 and a similar size piece of the paper with the red raspberries.  I have to admit I'm pretty tired of using these papers so debating whether to keep what's left or give them away.  I can't cross it off my list until they are out of the house or on cards.

This is a fun fold that I like to make. I tried to explain the steps for making this one but instructions just didn't seem clear.  This video isn't the original one I watched to make the card but it is the same style.

It's been 2 weeks since I've made anything, so I really need to get busy and get some cards made again.  This is the last one I have to show you.  I hope to have something for tomorrow.

I had intended to post this card on Wednesday.  Life has just been a little overwhelming lately and I forgot to post it.

I played around with which piece I wanted to use on the narrow strip.  This is the reverse side of the raspberries.  I didn't like it.

I had a scrap of the red and white dsp and liked it much better.  Thank you for coming by!

 

Once again concentrating on using up the Berry Delightful dsp.  This was a fun card to make. You can see the measurements on THIS video from Rita Holmes.

Every once in a while, it is fun to make 3 cards at the same time using the Stack, Cut & Shuffle technique.  It doesn't matter how you make the cuts. I think I originally stacked 3 pieces of the dsp measuring 4" x 5 1/4".  After I cut the pieces, I adhere them to a piece of copy paper that also measures 4" x 5 1/4".  Once that was done, I did decide I wanted to mat them so I chose where I wanted to trim them down to 3 3/4" x 5" matted with the blue card stock.  They were all then added to a white card base.

This is a wedding card made for some friends.  It is a tri-fold card with vellum placed behind the oval die cut window.  The middle section was embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.  The die cut is also from Cuttlebug.

I found a video from Sara Rayner on YouTube for this idea.  Once again, by adding dsp to the flap of the envelope, I was able to use up the rest of that design.

I still have a full sheet of the paper in that pack which has the red raspberries. I ran out of time to get it used but you will probably seeing cards from that very soon.  I want to be able to cross off that dsp pack of paper from my stash.

Another card from the Too Cool Stamping video.  The card she made had the center section flip up and it was just placed on a flat 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base. I placed the center panel on the front of a regular A2 card base that is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (scored at 4 1/4")  My front panel does not flip up like hers.

Today's cards and cards through Friday are going to be from a video I watched on YouTube.  Too Cool Stamping gave me the help I needed to start using up my Berry Delightful dsp.  I pretty much CASED her cards since it was easy to get myself going.

A friend sent me some pieces to make a card or two with these SU papers.  I wasn't sure what I would use for a sentiment.  At one time I used to have a stamp about not talking to me until I had my coffee, but I couldn't find it.  Then I remembered the SU "Nothing's Better Than" stamp set.  I used the two stamps and die cut the "Coffee".  I like the way the card came together.

The stamped "nature designs" are from the Thoughtful Wishes/Thoughtful Journey bundle.  I had watched a video from Sunny Day Stamping.  I changed the sentiment and I think that is why I'm not thrilled with how it turned out.  I don't feel stamping the sentiment in black a good choice.  I might give it another try eventually but will have to think about it.
