When I had this retired paper on my table, I decided it was going to all disappear.  These three cards are all very simple.  I will add a sentiment to this first one when I decide to use it.

Very quick and easy!

Getting closer to having all of the paper used up!

I really am back to trying to dig into my stash of designer papers.  It is so hard to avoid buying more and my 12 drawers ARE FULL!  The die cut flowers were already in my package of paper.

I didn't even have to do anything with these two scraps that were in the package.

When I pulled out this retired dsp, I found the large panel already matted with Mint Macaroon card stock.  Before adding it to the white card base, I punched a Mint Macaroon circle and a slightly smaller white circle.   I added the die cuts to the circle and then adhered the large panel with dimensionals

A fancy fold with a left over die cut.

Quick and simple!

Recently I was trolling dies on Amazon and found this one.  I thought it would make a great background for a die cut flower or in this case the butterfly.  The butterfly was die cut using Stampin' Up! Hydrangea Hill dsp which gives a great variety of colors.  NOTE:  This was the second card I made using the die but wanted you to see this one first. The first one is below.

For my first attempt to use the die I'm not sure why I chose a black card base for the white die cut.  I have mixed feelings about it.  I added the spray of flowers from a Memory Box die and then finished with three little metal butterflies from Stampin' UP!.  I certainly like the white on white card much better but decided to share this one as well.

If you follow my blog at times, you may have seen other "Quilt" cards that I have posted.  Julie Heitz comes up with some really fun designs and "Piano key" design was really easy to do.  It is also a great way to use some of your tiny coordinating scraps.  The paper I used is the retired Stampin' Up! Hydranga Hill dsp.

I have been hoarding my supply of Thoughtful Journey 6 x 6 dsp.  I cut a 4"  5 1/4" piece of this design and added it to my card base.  I stamped the birds and sentiment. The boat was die cut.  The sails were stamped and then die cut.  I think this makes such a peaceful scene.

Two simple layouts to use up retired dsp.  I took a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of dsp for each of the cards. I then cut off a random section at the bottom, flipped it over and used the back side for the contrast.  The two pieces were then added to a 4" x 5 1/4" mat and then added to the card base.  A piece of coordinating card stock and sentiment were added to across the dsp.

These four cards were made using a "Four Patch" technique that Julie Heitz demonstrated.  I should have arranged them in order when I took the picture.  The bottom left is the first one, upper left is the second pattern, bottom right is the third pattern and then the top right is the final one with more tiny pieces.  They were fun to make.  I used the same dsp that Julie used but chose different focal pieces for my cards.

Before adding the focal pieces, I could have run the squares through with an embossing folder for a quilted look but with this foiled paper, I chose not to.

I know I have mentioned Rita Holmes before but when she has a card that I like, I try to make one the same day as her video or soon after.  The Arches form the card that opens but then it is added to a piece of card stock that measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  This is how she made her card so I did the same.  Actually, if I make any more with this idea, I won't add the backing.  The white arch actually opens for the card and if the largest arch is made of a  heavy enough paper, it doesn't need that back panel.

This card was made using dsp from two different collections and a die cut that had been on my craft table for too long.  I actually made this one weeks ago but kept postponing posting it.

Julianne Richards had a video on YouTube demonstrating how to make these two cards.  I made these cards several weeks ago and forget if she had used the same papers or not.  These fun folds are ones I love making.

In my effort to use more of my retired paper, I found a card very much like this one on Pinterest made by Karen Hallam.

It's 10:30 PM but it's still Sunday, so I thought I would give you a really big post tonight.  Below are 11 cards from a One Sheet Wonder.  I had put these together minus the sentiments weeks ago, but a few days ago, I decided it was high time I finish them off.

(The sentiment looks a little wonky in the picture and the card base color is Mossy Green but didn't photograph very well for this one.)

See you tomorrow?

We have three granddaughters who have birthdays in August....9th, 17th and 19th.  Our youngest granddaughter is turning 18 today!  CAN'T BE TRUE! And the oldest grandchild will turn 27 on the 17th..  HOW CAN THAT BE POSSIBLE?! This is a card one of them will receive.

Another fun quilt design from the Quilts and More Facebook page.
It's hard to see the embossing I did on this one.

I have a stack of  "not quite finished" cards on my table.  I decided it was time to make some room for other things.  This was a quilt pattern I tried from a video I saw on the Facebook group "Quilts...and More".  Making quilts with paper on cards is so much fun and you don't even have to do any actual sewing.  To give the design a "quilted" look you run the piece through your machine with an embossing folder.

The 3D embossing folder I used is from Spellbinders.  It is  "Four Petal Floral".  We have a wedding invitation for September and I wanted to get ahead of the game to have a card already made.  This makes such a simple card to put together.  The gold foil and gold embossing add a lot of elegance.  I also embossed the flap of the envelope.

Two cards made from leftover pieces.

When you have pretty papers, it doesn't take much to quickly make cards.

I like that the die cuts out a mat which really helps to set off the dsp.  These papers are so pretty.  Instead of adding a white piece for the sentiment, I chose one of the designs that would allow me to stamp the sentiment right on the dsp.

In Love Arts designs has dies that make a fun card.  Rather than add a variety of papers to the open areas, I used just one of the papers from the paper collection.  I used a circle punch to cut out one of the flowers and added it below the sentiment.

This is the same dsp as I used yesterday.  I had a piece of the floral design left so I cut a piece from a second design and put this simple layout together very quickly.

When I am on Facebook, sometimes advertisements come up for "In Love Art"....I think I have that right.  I decided for the fun of it to check them out.  They had a great deal on some packages of 6 x 6 dsp.  The papers are only one sided but not very expensive so I ordered a couple of packages.  This was a sheet from one of them.  I love the "happy" design.  The paper was matted and added to the card base.  It didn't need anything more than a simple sentiment.
