I am on a group of ladies on Facebook that make "quilt" cards. Since I do not enjoy working with fabric and thread, this is a fun way to make quilt patterns. Recently there was a card using the "God's Eye" pattern. It looked relatively easy so I gave it a try. It definitely took some time because all of the pieces were so small. If I counted correctly it was 56 small triangles. Using a tweezers made it a little easier. This was my first try.
After making it I realized that I could make it much quicker with mostly larger pieces. It meant adjusting the measurements just a little but it was well worth the effort. Instead of 40 tiny pieces, I was able to do it with 20 larger triangles and I think 12 small ones.
Thank you for coming by!

Those are beautiful, Vicki! Good figuring on how to do it with less (and bigger) pieces.
Now these cards take patience! Love the cozy quilt look.
