No Stamping Valentine

Here's another example of a very easy card to make for Valentine's Day. The main card is red cardstock. I cut a narrow piece of white card stock and used the scalloped punch from Martha Stuart. This piece was put on the front of the card about 1 inch above the bottom edge leaving room to put the white heart-shaped buttons. I cut a piece of the red and white gingham checked paper and attached it with the edge at the top of the card. I punched three sizes of circles with Marvy Punches and on the smallest one I used the double hearts Tonic Punch. I assembled these pieces with double sided tape and attached them with pop dots.
When mailing this type of card embellishments such as buttons or other items, care must be taken so they don't come through the envelope. You can either fold them so the design is inside the card to be mailed or send them in a padded envelope.
