I recently watched THIS video.  Rita Holmes has a video most Tuesday mornings at 9:00 and it is just a fun way to start of the day.  This time she showed making a card with SU papers that showed a scene.  It reminded me of the "spotlight" technique but not using stamped images.  The circle was cut from the scene and then matted with a piece of card stock.  It wasn't just glued back to the card but was added with dimensionals.

This third card was actually going to be my first attempt to make a card like the two above.  I got ahead of myself and had glued the dsp down to a mat before I cut the circle.  In thinking about it now I should have cut the circle and I think it would have still worked out just fine.  Well, it's still a very pretty card.

Thank you for coming by today!
