At one point I had decided not to make cards for the care centers this year because I was busy getting organized to do a craft show. but when I discovered I have over 650 cards in boxes, I knew I had to take a break from making more non-holiday cards.  I remember how much it meant to my mother that I would do this for those where she lived.

Two years ago I bought two 12" x 12" pads of paper from a Michael's clearance sale.  I didn't get around to using them last year and decided that those papers would be perfect to make up a lot of CAS cards to donate after all.  I did make the difficult decision to drop one of the places because it was another 50 cards. (If time permits I may make some for them.)

The cards above were all made from one of the paper pads.  There were multiple sheets with the same design and they were very easy to put together.

These cards were made from the second pad of 12" x 12" papers.  I cut them up into as many pieces as I could get that measured 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  I added each to an A2 card base.  Then I punched pieces for the sentiment and added them to most of the cards.  You may notice that two of them don't have those added pieces due to the design on the paper.  I had enough of these cards to take to the other two care centers.

Thank you for coming by today!
