Recently I was trolling dies on Amazon and found this one. I thought it would make a great background for a die cut flower or in this case the butterfly. The butterfly was die cut using Stampin' Up! Hydrangea Hill dsp which gives a great variety of colors. NOTE: This was the second card I made using the die but wanted you to see this one first. The first one is below.
For my first attempt to use the die I'm not sure why I chose a black card base for the white die cut. I have mixed feelings about it. I added the spray of flowers from a Memory Box die and then finished with three little metal butterflies from Stampin' UP!. I certainly like the white on white card much better but decided to share this one as well.
Thank you for coming by today!

I think they are both great, Vicki!! I do really like the black one!
Thank you! The black one is growing on me a little but I do love the first one.
Hi Vicki. Oh my dear you hit another jackpot. These are so pretty. Simple but very classy. The black one looks elegant. Thank I enjoy your work. You are an artist. Have a nice cool afternoon. Rachel
I like them both. The black one is quite dramatic and someone is going to love it! I have learned from donating so many cards to the thrift store that even if I don't care for a card I have made, someone else is going to think it's great.
Personally, I like the black one the best.
Thank you, Jeanne! It's growing on me. :)
