THANK YOU FROM SANTA (#2)
Life has been extremely busy over the last few days with Thanksgiving, grandchildren staying here and an Aunt celebrating her 90th birthday. Not much getting done with cards so today it is just another version of the message from Santa using the same stamps but different layout. These were really fun to do.
Very soon I will begin posting Christmas cards I have made in case you'd like some ideas. Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate your comments.

ONE LAST THANKSGIVING
For this card, I used Snickerdoodle cardstock from Lasting Impressions and ran the front through the Cuttlebug using the folder that gives a woodgrain look to it. I used the same designer paper with the leaves for the bottom layer and cut it with the Labels One from Spellbinders. The middle layer is cut with a square die and Weathered Nutmeg paper. The top layer is Snickerdoodle paper and cut with the Labels One die.
The design was colored using Copic Markers..........I love these markers. I have additional colors to add to my inventory for sale so if you're interested, let me know.
Thanks for stopping by..............remember that comments are always welcome!

GROUP SWAP CARD
This card has a strip of designer paper with fall leaves on the left side of the card. I cut and embossed a piece of Weathered Nutmeg paper with a Spellbinders Borderabilities with the leaves pattern and adhered it close to the right edge of the card. Then rather than throw away the tiny leaves which get cut out, I used three of them on the off white portion of the paper.
The design of the cute turkey (from Whipper Snapper Stamps) was stamped on off white paper and colored with Copic markers. Then I cut it with one of the Spellbinders Labels One dies. I then used the same die to cut the Terra Cotta Dots paper from Lasting Impressions but mounted it at an angle. The third layer was cut with a circle die from Spellbinders using the designer paper and finally the fourth layer was cut using the next larger size of circle die on the Terra Cotta paper.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you come back again soon...............and comments are always welcome.

THINKING OF THANKSGIVING
Several weeks ago I saw this fabulous sheer ribbon with the beautiful fall leaves on it after my car made that fatal left turn into Michael's. On the first card, I put the ribbon over a strip of Weathered Nutmeg paper from Lasting Impressions and then tore the right edge of the paper. Next I mounted that strip onto the Weathered Sunflower paper from Lasting Impressions. The stamped sentiment on the front is from Paper Inspirations. I love their vertical stamps and they have such a wide variety of sentiments on them.
The seond card is also made with Weathered Sunflower paper. This time I took the ribbon and mounted a piece of Snickerdoodle (off white) paper from Lasting Impressions that was the exact same width under it to give the leaves move color. On both of these cards, the ribbon was tucked under the strip of paper and fastened with tape, then attached to the card front using 3M double sided tape. The design on the second card is "Lil Turkey" from Whipper Snapper Stamps. I love their cute designs. The image was colored with my Copic CIAO markers and then cut with the Labels One die. The next two layers were also cut with the Labels One dies using the Weathered Sunflower and Weathered Nutmeg papers from Lasting Impressions.
