In the summer of 2007 I was lucky enough to attend the Summer CHA and participate in several make-and-take demonstrations. Representatives from Marvy Uchida showed us how to make this very simple Christmas card.
The edges of the red card stock were cut with a Marvy Uchida Trimmer using the scalloped blade and then the edges distressed with ink along the edges. The tree was made using a small scalloped rectangle for the trunk of the tree and then three sizes of heart punches with the hearts turned upside down. As you can see distressed ink was also applied to the edges of each of the hearts. After assembling them we dotted with red Stickles Glitter Glue. (Mine was not completely dry when I put it in with all of the things I had collected at the convention - thus the smudges). The final touch was a little punched star to top off the tree.
Just thought I would share this cute idea for anyone who needs to make a lot of cards and doesn't have a lot of time. Thanks for looking and come back soon!
