I'M STILL HERE

I just noticed that my last post was November 8th of 2024!  That's nearly 4 months ago!  For the first time in years, we had Thanksgiving and Christmas at our house.  Needless to say there was a slight bit of panic going on.

We had been wanting to install a walk-in shower.  The shower had been purchased but the guy who was to install it got hurt so we had to wait.  Guess when he was available......two days before Thanksgiving!  It all worked out.  We got through Thanksgiving just fine.

December was busy doing minimal decorating and making all of the cookies and treats that the family has come to expect.  Although the shower was done, the bathroom needed painted.  I was able to find a lady who came to help pick out the colors.  I had also been wanting to have the kitchen/dining room painted and as luck would have it, she said the bathroom and kitchen/dining area could be done all in one day!  I decided to go for it!  I'm loving the renovated bathroom and the kitchen/dining area being freshened up.

After the holidays, I was really eager to get back to my craft table!  I've spent the month making the Valentine cards for the 3 care centers and independent living center.  They are all done and I will be posting them this week.  Below are the 40 cards I made for one of the care centers.

I will be posting additional cards tomorrow and the rest of the week.  After that my posts will not likely be on a daily basis.  I'm in the process of going through some crafts and clothing etc to post for sale or take to Good Will. Yesterday I listed several old Avon Easter items from 45-50 years ago and had someone agree to come tomorrow to purchase at least one of them.  I'm off to a great start!

Thank you for coming by today!

Welcome back, Vicki! Nice valentines. Sounds like busy times for you. Glad you are back to crafting - sort of! :-)

I used a variety of papers to make these 40 cards.  These will go to the independent living center where my mother lived for 9 years. Thank ...
