Saturday we drove to Waterloo, IA and stayed overnight so we could be able to make it to a volleyball tournament in time on Sunday to see the first game that our granddaughter, Taryn, would be playing in. While we were very disappointed that the high school coach didn't play her, she gets a lot of playing time with this traveling team. They made it to the semi-finals but didn't win. Afterwards we took our daughter and granddaughter for a bite to eat before we all headed home. What a fun day!
When we go to these activities, Taryn always asks if I brought her cookies. She LOVES chocolate chip cookies. Before we left Saturday, I baked a double batch and took her 2 dozen. There are more in the freezer for the next time we make one of her games but of course we had to keep some for ourselves. She was like a little kid when she found out that I had actually brought some this time.
I made this Valentine using directions from a video by. It's actually very easy to make.
Thank you for coming by today!

Very cool you got to see Taryn play, and how nice of you to bring her cookies! Your card is amazing. I was just thinking yesterday that I really need to make some cards that are a little bit more "special." This one qualifies for sure!
