 I think these were two pieces of 4 x 4 papers that were cut at an angle.  Two different looks to the cards.

These are both lovely! I thought the first card front was made from three different pieces of paper until I read that two 4" X 4" pieces had been cut at an angle and then placed differently on each card. So clever!
