ONE LAST THANKSGIVING CARD (I think)

Yesterday I posted a card I made after watching THIS video.   Today's card was made after she showed how to make a second one with this same layout. The card she made on her YouTube video used a foiling technique to make the "Dotted Swiss" background.  I don't have a foiling unit, so I embossed a piece of Basic Beige cardstock and then very carefully ran a metallic gold ink folder over it to hit the dots. My first attempt failed but this one came out just perfect.  I'm thinking I may have some dsp or specialty paper that would have a gold metallic background and could work for this as well.

I did change up everything on the focal point layer.  I am really liking this one and wish I had cut pieces to make multiples of it.  I used the "Beautiful Autumn" stamp set and the coordinating punches.  I am sure these are retired items.  The dsp was a $5.00 collection with a $75 order.  The sheets all have  shimmer to them.

Inside.

Thank you for coming by today!
