CARD FROM 6 X 6 DP - #5

Of the five cards that I made with this designer paper, this one is my favorite.  The die is another one that I don't think I have ever used and I really like it on this card.

Over the last three weeks, I hope I have shown how you can get pieces for 31 cards from two sheets of 12 x 12 paper and a 6 x 6 piece.  I actually have 13 more unfinished cards from a third piece of 12 x 12 DP and 6 others from a leftover Stampin' Up! piece that had measured 11" x 8".  That's a total of 50 cards from 5 sheets.  I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all of them but I believe many of them will be going to the Iowa Veterans Home for the residents to use.

Thank you for stopping by today!  I think next week I'll give you a break and move on to something else.

CARD FROM 6 X 6 DP - #3

I didn't know what color of ink I'd use with this color so instead of adding a sentiment at the bottom of this card, I used a scrap piece of the dp.

CARD FROM 6 X 6 DP - #2

For this card, I actually combined two of the pieces together so instead of 6 cards I made only 5.  When I matted the smaller piece I didn't do a very good job cutting the matted edge.  By combining the two pieces on one card, It made a great background for the die cut that I used.  (I really don't know the brand of die.)

CARDS FROM 6 X 6 DP - #1

The last two weeks I have shown cards made from one piece of double sided designer paper.  On some I then used solid colored card stock to mat the pieces or add die cuts/punches.

The pieces I am using on this week's cards came from a 6 x 6 sheet in a paper pad and I didn't have any card stock that matched the main color so I used additional sheets from the paper pad to mat and die cut pieces.

I believe the sentiment was cut from an Elizabeth Crafts die.  Thank you for stopping by today!
