Over a year ago we had to put our dog, Okie, to sleep. She was 15 years old so we had enjoyed her for a long time but it was very difficult losing her. My husband does not want another dog so he did finally agree to letting me atleast have some bird feeders outside our living room bow window. I get some great birds, but over the last few days have been visited by two squirrels on a regular basis. Nothing stops them from climbing the pole and getting into the bird seed. They are a lot of fun to watch. They've even figured out how to get into the bird bath for a drink. The first picture is taken through our window showing how the one hangs by its feet and stays that way until it gets its fill. Today it actually lost its balance and almost fell off. It was quite comical watching it scramble to get back up. (Shame on me for laughing.)
The second picture also shows one sitting on top of the big rock waiting for its turn.
