I'm sorry I didn't get anything posted yesterday. One of our granddaughters was terribly congested and didn't go to school but spent the day here with me. Since she didn't have a fever I didn't mind having the company. We baked two loaves of banana bread - one with chocolate chips in it the way they make it at their house. And we played the "Memory Match" game using a deck of Old Maid cards. She laughed at what a terrible short memory I had for finding pairs of cards.
This morning we received freezing rain/drizzle so school was cancelled and our granddaughter will have another day to recuperate. Friday we're supposed to have a heat wave.............40 degrees!
But now it is back to business here. Today's card wasn't made for anyone in particular but will be good to have on hand for a last minute one that I want to send. My sister had given me a stash of patterned papers (not card stock) and I was going through them to decide whether to keep or sell. Originally this striped paper was in the pile to sell. For some reason last week I pulled it out again and decided to use a little of it.
The balloons were made using 3 Penny Black "uplifting" dies . The sentiment is from a Spellbinders "Sentiments One" die set.
Thank you for coming by!
