CASING "LOLLYPOP PAPER AND INK"

I found Lori Pinto's card on Pinterest.  I hadn't made much use of the Dainty Delight stamp set.  When I saw her card I knew I could make it up pretty quickly.   I like the way she had made score lines around all four edges of the white layer.  The only coloring was the flower blossoms.  I did use a blender pen on sheer white ribbon though since I didn't have what I would have preferred to use.

STAMPIN' UP! - Favored Flowers dsp (Warm colors)

I love, love, love this dsp! Do you?  I'm so glad I was able to get it.

Wish me luck!  Our town is having city garage sales today.  I am fortunate to be able to have my things inside an air conditioned Legion Hall building.  I have pulled out a lot of Stampin' Up! stamps, die, and retired dsp along with other typical garage sale items.  I sure hope it is worth the effort of getting everything there, unpacked and then packed up again to bring unsold items home.

STAMPIN' UP! - Favored Flowers dsp

This dsp was offered as a FREE item with a $50 order during the SU Sale-A-Bration.  At the time I first saw it in the flier I wasn't interested in it at all!  Then I started seeing cards made with it and, yes, I had to have it.  The paper is actually much prettier in person than it was in the SAB flier.  Below are two more cards using these colors.

Some of the flowers are along the side of the sheets but are far too pretty to throw away.  They work great to decorate the inside of the card.

For this card I reversed the designer paper pieces.  I really like both of them.

And once again I used a floral piece that had been along the side of a sheet of the dsp.  The collection designer papers has these "cool" color combinations but there are also sheets with "warm" colors.  Come back tomorrow and I will show you two of those cards.

STAMPIN' UP! - Hydrangea Hill dsp

Recently I made 48 templates from videos by Jackie Bolheis and her husband.  Now I have all of these templates and need to USE them.  This one was from Volume 1 of their shares.

I put this one together very quickly so I could get it in the mail and forgot to take a picture of it before writing inside.  I have been sending a weekly card to a classmate who has been fighting Cancer for nearly a year and a half.  She's a very special lady!  From the very first I heard of her situation, I began sending her cards since I don't live close enough to be of help otherwise.  I just need to let her know that she is "with me" every day.

This afternoon my husband and I are going to a performance of  "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" in Dubuque, IA.  I have no idea what to expect but my husband said he has always wanted to see it and today is Father's Day!

I'm not fond of having to fussy cut but there is no die to use with the dsp from this sheet of the collection.   The main piece was fussy cut, but there are two "Balmy Blue" sprigs that were die cut and added to the design.

PENNY BLACK STICKERS - 5 cards

I had intended to have this posted yesterday.  

I found that when I was using the Penny Black stickers that it was much easier to use them if I attached them to a piece of white card stock first.  The white card stock was cut a very slight bit smaller than the sticker.  It took a little time measuring and cutting but make it much easier when it came to adding them to a card.  By adding glue to the back it gave me a little "wiggle room" to adjust it where I wanted it.

The card stock used for the bases and mats are from Stampin' Up!  The SU colors blended very well with the colors in the stamps.
