VALENTINE USING DESIGNER PAPER

My card base is white card stock.  I then cut two panels of these dp designs from the KaiserCraft "English Rose Collection" 6  x 6 inch pad.  The solid pink piece is actually a pre-formed die cut that was in the back of the pad.  Of course I wanted to use something Stampin' Up! on the project so once again I used the dies from the Hearts A Flutter set.

I discoverd that VersaColor Ash Rose ink works very well for stamping the sentiment inside.

I believe this will be the end of the Valentines for this year (but you never know).  Although I hope to be working on some of the taxes this weekend, I hope that Monday there will be something different posted using one of the new stamp sets from Stampin' Up!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

FOR A LITTLE GIRL WHO LOVES GLITZ

One of our granddaughters loves "glittzy" things so even though this isn't a very remarkable card (definitely not a winner), I know she will love all the sparkle.

The SU Real Red card stock.  The embossing folder I used on it is missing at the moment so I'm sorry I can't tell you who made that one. Five of the hearts were all cut using the Stampin' Up! "Hearts A Flutter" dies using glitter paper and the white one was plain card stock but embossed with the Swiss Dots folder.

One more Valentine tomorrow and then next week I will begin showing some of the newer Stampin' Up! supplies again.  Thank you so much for stopping by!

SIMPLE VALENTINE

Even simple Valentines can be pretty.  I used the Stampin' Up! Real Red card stock for the card base and embossed it with a Cuttlebug folder.  The pretty heart was die cut with a Cheery Lyn "Two of Hearts" die.  I then added a red heart which had been cut with a die from one of my friends.......I'm not sure but I think it might be from QuicKutz.  The tiny bow is something I found in my basket of pieces and it has 3 very tiny gems on it.

Thank you for stopping by today!

PRECIOUS MOMENTS VALENTINE

I have a lot of Precious Moments stamps and don't think to use them very often.  When I started making Valentines for 2014 I remembered this cute little gal and pulled her out.

The sentiment is from Paper Inspirations.  I colored the little girl with Copic markers.

If you have any questions, just let me know.  I'm posting this just before I am ready to take off for part of the day.

Thank you for stopping by!

TWO VALENTINES

For this very simple card, I used the Memory Box "Heart Ensemble" die.  When I added it to the red dp from PapertreyInk I had to be very careful not to get too much glue on the back side, but the Tombow liquid glue worked out just fine.  I lined up the sentiment by using the Stamp-a-ma-jig.

This card was made using the same Memory Box die and added it to a dp from a Basic Grey paper pad.  The solid pink is Lasting Impressions Guava Wash card stock and the solid heart was cut using the die from the Stampin' Up! Hearts a Flutter die set.

Just a note:  My schedule is going to be a irregular for the next few weeks so I'm not real sure if I'll get something posted every day.  (I need to get tax information ready for my mother, a daughter & her husband, and for ourselves which will take some time.)  I do hope you will continue to check back.  If you have signed up for the notices then you will be able to tell when there is something new.

Thanks for stopping by today!

2013 VALENTINE

As I schedule this card for posting, I know I'm going to have a busy day on Thursday (1/23) so I am showing you a Valentine that I actually made last year and was still in my tub of cards to use.

This is a Friday card so I hope you will be back on Monday.  Thank you for stopping by!

HEARTS A FLUTTER #2

I don't think, this card needs a lot of explanation, but if you have any questions about it, please let me know.  It was made using the same supplies that I used on yesterday's card.

Thanks for stopping by!
