About two years ago I took a class from Michelle Zindorf. I especially enjoyed one of the ladies who sat next to me. Ann Schach (The Stampin' Schach
) and we have followed each other's blogs ever since. Recently she had some 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 pieces of a really cute Stampin' Up! designer paper that she was offering to anyone who would want some. I have a stamp that goes perfectly with it. Thank you so much, Ann, for sharing this paper with me.
This past Sunday I joined 7 other ladies (2 from California, 2 from Nebraska, 1 from Minnesota and 3 of us from Iowa) in Des Moines, IA. We have this gathering once a year and have such a wonderful time sharing, laughing and eating and did I mention LAUGHING. I decided that the first project I was going to complete was the card shown above. I used Copic markers to color the image. The stamp is from Denami and the image was mounted on coordinating papes which I purchased at Archivers.
The Archiver's store in Des Moines lets us reserve one of their large rooms for the Monday when we come and then again on Tuesday until we leave after lunch. Here are a couple of pictures from our get together.

Great card Vicki. Am marking the days on my calendar already. My sides still hurt from laughing - or was it eating??? Well probably way too much of both. If laughing keeps you healthy, we must be the healthiest bunch alive!

This paper worked perfectly with this stamp set! Too cute! Isn't it amazing how we have stayed in touch since Michelle's class! Not only did I learn how to brayer...I gained a precious friend in the process!
