After watching a video from Rita Holmes, I made the two cards below. I didn't have the same die but decided that I could get a similar presentation using this die from Poppy Stamps.  (It is a die from my "collection" so it was good to pull out something I hadn't used in a very long time.)  The dsp behind the die cut is from SU Thoughtful Journey dsp.  I still had some of the sheets left with these types of designs so I made several cards using up some of them.

After my two cards posted here, I am showing you a snapshot of the card Rita made.

That die works really well Vicki. Gorgeous cards.

Fun technique. I like your die cuts better than the last one. Yours has more movement to it. Plus it leaves you a nice open space for words or other elements. Great use of that DSP too. I'm going to have to try that with what dies I have. I have some DSP that would be perfect for that. TFS

Your cards are so pretty. I have a couple of these cut-out type dies in my "collection", too. I think I need to get them out and use them again. thanks for the inspiration.

More beauty, Vicki! :-) I have dies similar to this, too.

Sunday while I was cleaning up my craft table, I found an envelope with some pieces that a friend (Wanda Pettijohn) had sent me last year....
