WEDDING CARD

This past Saturday evening we attended a wedding reception.  Both the bride and groom had lost their respective spouses but were lucky enough to have the second chance at love.  This is the card I made for them.  It's not the typical wedding card, but knowing them I doubt that is what they would expect.  Instead of gifts for themselves, they asked for us to donate money to one of two charities that mean a lot to them.

I started with a triple-fold card.  First, I embossed the middle section of the card and then cut an oval with a Spellbinders die.  I added a piece of green vellum behind the window area and then adhered the right panel of the card to the front on the back side.

The beautiful spray of flowers was cut with a Memory Box die.  I tucked the stem down into the space between the front and the vellum.  Then I added very small dots of Tombow liquid glue to parts of the die cut to keep it in place.  I wanted small areas to overlap onto the front.

I can't believe tomorrow is the last day of June already!!!!  Thank you for stopping by today!
