In July of this year, we had a surprise invitation to take a hot air balloon ride with friends. It happened to be the day after our wedding anniversary so it was even more special. Riding up above and watching "the world below" is an awesome experience..........deer running, two young guys rowing a canoe, the crops in the fields and families in their yards waving at us.
Since the friends cannot charge for rides, my husband wanted to give them a little gift at Christmas so the card is a Thank You note at Christmas.
The stamps are from Paper Trey. After stamping the balloon baskets and the grass below, I inked the remainder of the white portion with Broken China Distress Ink. That piece was then layered on top of white cardstock and then the turquoise paper is from Stampin Up. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and was stamped with Wild Wasabi ink and then mounted on the same color of SU card stock.
Thanks for checking out my blog page.......I always love reading your comments. Come back again soon!
