Kris, who is one of the members of our Yahoo Group, brought a kit for each of us to make this card. The bird design is from a Penny Black stamp set. The SU Night of Navy striped dp gives a nice border on the bottom of the front. The card was made from white card stock slightly smaller than 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and then mounted onto a 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of SU Night of Navy card stock.
I wasn't sure what sentiment if any I would put on the front but I may stamp a small one slightly above the ribbon on the left side. This is a style of card I can see my self making more with various designs and dp.
Don't you like this design? Thank you for stopping by today!
SPECIAL NOTE: I was asked about the flowers on the cards that I posted yesterday. The first two cards used the Cuttlebug matching die and embossing folder. I'm not sure about the third card but I think we were told it was a Cuttlebug item as well. The last card has flowers that were die cut from a Memory Box die. I'm sorry I don't know the exact names of them because they were already pre-cut for us.

Yes, this is a very striking card. I love the crisp look of the navy and white.
