Today we will be attending the very intimate funeral for a long time friend of ours. Many years ago we had several trips together and had lots of laughs. I have to admit I'm a little nervous about going, but my husband is a pallbearer and he feels I really need to go. There are supposed to be only about a dozen people but I will be extremely careful.

Your card is beautiful and will be much appreciated, I'm sure. Any sort of gathering is really a concern these days, isn't it? If there are only a dozen or so in attendance, it should be fairly easy to social distance. And along with masks and no hugging, etc., you should both be ok. You'll be in my thoughts...
