After I bought the paper, I had a really hard time deciding how to use it. I made a couple of cards using some of the other sheets. I was determined to do something more with what I had left so I made card kits for my two friends and I to put together on one of our play dates. There is a "belly band" around the center to keep it closed. Below is a picture of the opening.

Very nice. Fun fold and with a belly band!!
That paper is such a soft, pretty pink. I think it would work great for summer birthday cards. I like to use a sentiment like "Let's shell-ebrate you!", and then add some shell die-cuts like the one you put on your belly band. I like the fold of your card, too. It's kind of an offset gatefold, which is more interesting than the regular gatefold.
